Great Family Dogs Require Intentional Breeding
About Valley Bernedoodles

Valley Bernedoodles is a small, family-owned, bernedoodle breeder in Lyman, Wyoming. Jacob and Anne Harmon quickly fell in love with Maggie, their bernedoodle dog, and decided to try breeding her in 2021. They had such a fun time, and loved the happiness their dogs brought to the families that received them so they decided to turn it into an official business. Valley Bernedoodles has the mission of creating some of the best family dogs. In order to do this, we carefully select dogs and genetics and invest a lot into setting up our litters for success during the brief time we have with them.

What is a bernedoodle?
A bernedoodle dog is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. We may be biased, but we believe that they are the perfect mix. They receive incredible qualities from both the Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle. Their gentle, loving, playful, and strong like their Swiss alps ancestor and low to non-shedding like the poodle.
The little things make a big difference
Why Valley Bernedoodles?

We work hard to create the very best dogs that we can. Here are some of the reasons to choose Valley Bernedoodles:

Genetic integrity

Before breeding our puppies, we genetic test both the dam and sire to make sure our puppies won’t have any genetic diseases. We also confirm that our puppies are indeed fully Bernese Mountain Dog and poodle.

Early Neurological Stimulation

We perform Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) from days 3-16 of a puppies life. ENS has been shown to improve the dog's stress tolerance, heart, resistance to disease, and more.

Exposure

As our puppies grow, we expose them to new experiences, environments, sounds and textures. This includes riding in a car, grass, carpet, stairs, doorbells, knocking, walking on a leash and more.

Time with children

We have small children at home. Thanks to this, our puppies are exposed to small children at a young age. They are handled by children and are taught what's okay and what isn't when it comes to kids.

Kennel Training

We do basic kennel training before they go home with you. They won't have spent a lot of time in a kennel, but they will be familiar with them, and have spent at least some time in a kennel alone.

Basic Commands

Your dog will have a head start on basic training commands such as "sit," "stay," "lay down," and "come."

Health

They'll already have been seen by a vet, and will have their first round of vaccinations done before they go home with you. They will be de-wormed. We'll send them home with medical records and growth charts.

Take Home Kits

Puppies come with a gallon zip-lock bag full of the high quality food we've been giving them, a plush toy that has the scent of their mom and litter, copies of the pictures we've taken from birth till the time they leave.
